News Flash

School is going well, you can check my other blog for all the pretty pictures! Here's a shot of the gazpacho appetizer we made last week. YUM!




Crafting has slowed down a bit due but I have finished a few projects to show you:

I made 3 of Lucy Neatby's "Scrunchie Hat". It's quick and makes one cute hat.

My hat and then there was a purple one that I made for mom but I forgot to get a shot of it before I gave it to her. HEY MOM!

Similar to the hat above are these Slinky Socks by Rae Blackledge. I definitely will make these again just not do the short row turnaround to avoid purling as suggested in the pattern. Just not necessary.

And last but definitely not least, we have a new member of the house...

Let me introduce you all to Pierre!

He's a 12 week old seal lynx-point Siamese. He's quickly won our hearts and knows it (he's at this moment sleeping behind my knees while I lie on the sofa writing this). He's going to be a big boy when he grows up too! He's already 4 lbs +. Let's all say it together now.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAW!
